What is everyone's opinion on the takeover?
I'm pretty angry about it. Budweiser has always been an American beer, and they're also a great supporter of our troops. I'm worried that might change with the new management.

Anheuser-Busch has ALWAYS supported this troop. ESPECIALLY my weekends. Personally, I don't really care so long as the beer doesn't change. But I swear if they start charging my import prices at the bar...I'm gonna get all Iraq on someone.

LOL good answer. I like the fact that I can go to Sea World and Busch Gardens for free, and they don't really card us military folks at the beer tap I'm hoping that won't change.

Eh, Budweiser is just like water, I rarely touch the stuff. I'm against the large brewing corporations anyway, as they overwhelm local craft brewers and push them off the market with an insuperior product, I'm actually a member of CAMRA, the organisation who works to support makers of 'Real Ales' here in the UK, so I can't say I have any real objections here.
As it is, Budweiser is brewed all over the world. Will the product be any different if it is bought over?

They promised not to change the formula, but the thing is Budweiser has always been seen as an American beer since it's been run by the same family for generations, that's part of why I'm unhappy about the takeover. I really hate that our economy has gotten to the point where foreigners are just buying out traditionally American companies, we already outsource too much.

I drink a lot more Coors than bud light, though, so... And ale leaves a horrible taste in my mouth. Ugh.

MGD is the only mass production beer I'll drink.
I've always liked the micro brews. For my region. LeinenKugels.
The only time I will really drink the bag name stuff is if its a party where much beer is to be had. Or when their is naught else.
I think it is somewhat disheartening that the "American King of Beers" is now owned by a European company.

While I think its sad and very un-American what they are doing with the whole takeover thing it wouldnt make me change who I by beers from anyways, I dont drink corporation beer. Im a small brewery fur myself and for many reasons; micro brewerys have better quality beer, they taste better, have cooler lables, and alot of the big beer corporations dont brew dark beers which are my favorite. Theres no doubt in my mind that the takeover will hurt Budweiser alot, its a damn shame.
